trekking to kanchanjunga with the guide of wildyeti adventure company was an experience which i\'ll not soon forget. From the terraced rice fields, to glaciers field, to breathe taking views of the himalayas, the scenery was spectacular.thanks to the knowledge of our guide, and the groups small size, we were able to stay in small, local house hoods-resulting in a fascinating insight into the lifes of cultures of the various people which inhabit the kanchanjunga area. in addition, we were fortunate enough to be trekking during deepawali(tihar). this was an unexpected and wonderful surprise, as we participate in the local customs surrounding the festival of lights. while trekking, we were also able to see many different types of animals, these included yak, buffalo, snakes, birds of any type cuckoos, and my favourite. An up-close-and-personal viewing of a large pack of forest goats, as they bound across the rough terrain of the high plains, with the picturesque mt. Nepal in the background. while many companies may offer similar adventures, what distinguishes wildyeti adventrue company is their ability to taylor a trek specifically to your needs. I wanted to stay with local families and also to camp- no problem, i was escorted with a small group plus camping equipment and a porter to make this possible. I wasnt sure how long i wanted to trek for - No problem, we agreed on a reasonalble estimate of days with the condition that it was flexible and aditional payments/refunds would be made upon my group arrival to kathmandu, whats more is that this agreement was kept. Finally, the companies owner Mr. Santosh Dhakal is truely concerned about your satisfaction, whenever we had cell phone reception i recieve check of calls-he even offered to email my parents that i was okay. overall, a truely pleasant experience and i would not hesitate to arrange another trek with this company. Best Wishes plus Happy Trekking -Kyle Yeates- Please email me if you would like to know more about the details of my experience kyle.yeates@gmail.com (customer expecting to do kanchanjanga trek could email Mr. Kyle if there is any queries regarding with us.)

Hey, Just got back from my trekking with Wildyeti. Had an absolutely amazing time! Words cannot describe just how spectacular the Himalayas are, you just have to get out there and see it for yourself…….and I would definitely recommend booking with Wildyeti. When I decided to do a trekking trip, I went into a few trekking companies to get prices and info. I felt slightly overwhelmed and confused as to which company to go with. I knew if I was going to do a trek with just me and a guide, I needed to make sure I picked the right company. As soon as I came into Wildyeti, I knew I would book my trip with them. Instantly I got good vibes from Rabin and Santosh, they made me feel like we had been friends a long time. They also emphasized safety and insurance which put me at ease. I was running out of time and they managed to accommodate this and organized my trek to start the next day even though it was already 2pm! The original plan was to do an Everest Panorama trek but once there it turned out I was a pretty good trekker for a foreigner! ? As I like a challenge, I wanted to change my trek to do the summit of Gokyo. Most companies would have said ‘no’ to such changes but my guide Rabin was really flexible and happy to do whatever I wanted. Rabin helped me with everything, from adjusting my pack to make it more comfortable, to getting me water and taking lots of pictures for me. He even let me use his mobile phone when I needed to make calls so that I didn’t have to pay the Rs.100 per minute in the phone shop. Nothing much was trouble for him and really felt like he had one focus and that was for me to enjoy my Himalayan experience. Rabin had so much knowledge of the region, not just the mountains but the culture, language, religion, food, wildlife, nature and the people. All this added to my experience and means I had a trip I will never forget. It has been the trip of lifetime and I am truly thankful to the guys at Wildyeti for everything they did for me. I will write again when I do my next trek……..a peak over 6000m hopefully!!! Never Ending Peace And Love Happy Trekking ?

Well Cana on the previous page summed it up fairly nicely. But I have a few extra things to say. If you are sitting here reading this, you have found the right trekking company. Full stop. There was not one aspect of our tour that our guide was not knowledgeable bout Kumar tought us about local, native medicines (tropical, alpine) small social customs of the different cultures along the Annapurna circuit. Amongst that, it was always lovely to have our spirits picked p when things were “getting tough” via Kumar’s lovely Nepali folk songs. I could’ve not asked for a more enthusiastic friendly guide. This truly was a nepali experience. Mike Wood Colorado, United States of America P8ntbawla@gmail.com P.S. off-season treks are JUST as amazing. Less crowd and more authentic Nepali Culture.

Offseason experience through the Annapurna circuit, a wonderful experience and a wonderful guide Kumar! Mike and I are two fellow hiker, trekkers, and lovers of the mountains from Denver/Colosprings, Colorado in USA. We have experienced many climbs in the Rocky Mountains but non compares to the Himalayans and the beautiful touring peaks, mountains and hills, the people and the incredible hospitality and culture we experienced along the way. Thanks to wildyeti we were able to afford and experience something which upon arrival in Nepal we were unsure we would be able to accomplish! 18 days and over 206km(128 miles) later we were able to see and enjoy the communities of Manang, Jomsom, Tatopani(the most spiritual Hot Springs I have ever seen!) as well as thorang Pass and Tilicho Lake which are both magnificent and larger than any of the hills of Colorado. We were able to see(even in the off-season fog and rain) Dhaulagiri, Manang Peak, Tilicho Peak, Annapurna II, III and IV, Pisang Peak as well as many others unnamed. Unfotunaterly the only thing we missed due to rain was Poon Hill and the amazing view, however we will be back for more trekking and will be looking for wildyeti and Kumar! Thank you so much for everything! Namaste Michael Wood and Cana Little Denver, Colorado

Awesome job guys! The trip to Chitwan was incredible. The hotel was comfortable, clean and right in front of the river. We could see elephants bathing in the river every Morning, right from our window. The activities you guys planned for us were top notch. For anyone else planning a trip to Chitwan,I impose you to take a Sunrise Canoe ride, or elephant ride and a visit to the Tharu Cultural dance Show(I thought the dance would be a tourist program but it was really Cool!) Thanks again for the trip guys, I wish I wasn’t leaving so soon. Friend and First Customer,

Namaste, Two weeks ago trekking trip to lower and Upper Mustang (Lo) was amazing. We have great memories of mountain scenery, spectacular and wild landscape, unique and well preserved Tibetan culture, hospitable local people and beautiful autumn colors contrasting with dry and harsh environment of the last remaining Nepalese Kingdom of Lo. We are grateful for the support and assistance from Wildyeti staff. Rabin – Our guide and Deepak – our porter were very helpful and looked well offer us. We would strongly recommend using services of Wildyeti to everyone considering trekking in Nepal. Thank you once again for this fantastic experience.

My days in Nepal are ending but I’ve had a great experience here, thanks to Santosh. I had nothing planned when I arrived and after a friendly meeting, I had it all prepared, perfectly planned and organized. I have been trekking 4 Days in Annapurna, stayed in a lovely hotel in Pokhara with great staff and walked with a super guide through the mountains. With local food (and drink!) and enjoyed every minute of it. I’ve also been to Chitwan and even though I haven’t seen any rhinos, it’s been an unforgettable experience. I’m surprised on how a person can treat a client as if it was a friend. We went for a trek the first day, lent me a jacket for the trek and more I’m at his home! I had never seen that …………..in Spain. To finish, thanks to Santosh for everything you’ve done for me, made me feel great and I’ll have always the best memories from your country. Namaste! Adieu!

Namaste and a warm dhanyabaad to our dear friend Santosh and his staff. Our great trek to Tilicho Lake and via Mesokanto Pass to Jomsom was perfect organized and yet we had enough time for our individual needs. Pasang, our excellent guide was very kind, friendly and knowledgeable, arranged excellent accommodation and meals, all services were superb. Farendra, our porter was always in a good mood, helpful and in radiating calmness. For us it was a marvelous experience to walk first through subtropical vegetation, green fields and lovely villages, always guided by the snow covered Annapurna range, passing sensational gorges and waterfalls to finally reach the amazing scenery of Tilicho Lake. The contact to the friendly, open-hearted and hospitable local people left a deep impact for our life. We appreciate all your help and recommend your company and service to all who want to travel to Nepal….and we are looking forward to our next visit in your wonderful country.
