Neytham Holy Cave Trek
Neytham Holy Cave Trek adds another tag in Sikkim for having beautiful creation of nature and adding values to the culture. Neytham Holy Cave is generally known as NEY DHAM to add meaning to its name.
In Lepcha “Ney” refers to “Holy Place” and “Dham” in Nepali language refers “dwelling place of god and goddess”.Nature itself has left the mark inside the cave as one of the best creation ever. Inside the big cave, one small and beautiful cave lies in the middle about 20ft high deep from the entrance where prayers can be performed. Neytham Holy cave is the example of well-preserved nature and culture. Its countless adjoining ranges has the opportunity to encounter breathtaking views such as Mt.Khangchendzonga, Mt.Pandim,Mt.Kabr. Days Activities 01. Arrive at Bagdora Airport/ New Jalpaiguri Railway Station. Receive and drive to Labdang Gurung Heritage village. O/N at Village. 02. Trek to Lhari Nimphu Holy cave. ( Distance 10 kms/6 hrs/2100m alt). O/N at camp. 03. Trek Lahri Nimphu to Dhoopi. (Distance 10 kms/5 hrs/3200 m alt) O/N at camp. 04. Trek Dhoopi to Borong Hotspring. O/N at Borong. (8 kms/4 hrs/1080 m alt.) O/N at camp. 05. Drive from Borong to Rabangla. O/N at Lodge/ Resort. 06. Drive from Rabangla to Bagdogra/ New Jalpaiguri railway station for onward journey. Included :
- Pick up from the Airport / Railway Station
- Breakfasts, lunches and dinners
- Airport transfers
