Rara is known as the largest Lake in Nepal  which lies in the high elevation towards the North West of Nepal. Only handful  of trekkers had done this trek to experience its unique culture and beautiful landscape combined with historically important places on the way.

While trekking with Wild Yeti you only need to experience and capture the moments of trekking and the rest will be taken care of. Our professional team such as guide, porters, Sherpa’s and cooks who carry the equipment, assemble and dissemble the camp and have hot meals waiting for you at every food break which is also taken as key factor beyond the successful trekking.

This trek is considered as a non-technical trek and suitable for average people.  A moderate fit person with extreme will of adventure can enjoy this life time adventure trek which is designed with high consider of acclimatize and high altitude sickness. Some physical fitness programs such as running, swimming, biking or aerobics is recommended, but mostly hiking on steep hills or running up and down steps are preferable.

ITINERARY OF DOLPO TO RARA TREK .

01. Arrival Kathmandu airport transfer to hotel, Evening trip brief. 02. after b/f Kathmandu city tour. Evening trip preparation.
03. From Kathmandu fly to Nepalgunj and overnight at Hotel. 04. Fly from Nepalgunj to Juphal-2353m and trek to Ghukuti 2550m.
05. Trek to Tharma-3280m (6-7 hr) crossing over Danfe La Pass-3400m 06. Trek to Chautha- 2770m (6-7 hr)
07. Trek to Forest Camp-2940m (6-7 hr) crossing over Churchi- La Pass- 3460m 08. Trek to Rara Lake 3062m (5-6 hr).
09. Rest day at Rara Lake. 10. trek back to Gorushinga-3000m (6-7 hr).
11. Trek to hadsija-2440m (5-6 hr). 12. Trek to Jaljala-3090m (6-7 hr).
13. Trek ends at Jumla-2370m (4-5 hr). 14. Fly back to Kathmandu via Nepalgunj transfer to Hotel evening rest at Kathmandu Hotel
15. Leisure day at katrhmandu Evening farewell Dinner. 16. Transfer to Airport farewell departure.
