Gosainkunda Lake, One of the most famous religious places of pilgrimage, (4,300 m) in Nepal. It’s a mini trek by itself and can be done in about five days or less. According to Hindu mythology Lord Shiva swallowed poison to save the world and to soothe the burning throat Lord Shiva pierced the earth with his trishul (trident) from
where a fountain of water sprang forming a lake where the burning Shiva jumped,later the same lake is known as Gosainkunda which is believed as the origin of the lake. There are 108 lakes in this region some of which are Saraswati, Bhairav, Surya and Ganesh. Gosaikunda not only holds the religious beliefs but also have given the full justice to the natural beauty.Both the serenity and holy beliefs makes Gosainkunda a place to be once in a lifetime.

01. Early morning drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi.Overnight Syabrubesi Guest House 02. Trek from syabrubesi to Lama hotel. 03. Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang 04. Trek from Langtang to Kyanjing Gumpa. 05. A day excursion to Tserko Ri 4984M. Evening back to Kyanjing gumpa overnight Guest House 06. Trek back to Lama Hotel . 07. Trek from Lama Hotel to Thulo Syabru. 08. Trek from Thulo Syabru to Cheese factory ( Chandan Bari). 09. Trek from Chess factory to Gosainkunda (4380m) 10. Gosaikunda Lake rest day . Explore the holy lake . 11. Gosaikunda cross over Lauribina la pass (4610m) arrived Ghote overnight Lodge. 12. Trek form Ghopte to Mangengoth. 13. Trek from Mangengoth to Kutumsangu. 14. trek from Kutumsangu to Chisapani . 15. Trek from Chisapani to Sundarijal . Drive back to Kathmandu.Overnight Kathmandu Hotel. 16. Fare well Departure.
