In the cultural aspect MUKTINATH is taken as one of the famous and sacred religious hub of Nepal. Many people travel to Muktinath as a part of their trek and for many people who doesn’t even understand what trek is ,visits Muktinath to pray and worship. It is believed that prayers offered to Muktinath will help to overcome all troubles and shortcomings.

Itinerary of Jomsom Muktinath trek in Detail
Days Activities 01. Arrive in Kathmandu International Airport. Transfer to the hotel and stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu. 02. City sightseeing in and around Kathmandu valley (Kathmandu, Bhaktapur & Patan).Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu. 03. Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (914m.) takes about six hours. 04. Fly from Pokhara to Jomsom (2713 m.) and trek Jomsom to Kagbeni (2895 m.) for about three hours. 05. Trek from Kagbeni to Muktinath (3795 m.) takes about four hours. 06. Trek from Muktinath to Thorong top (5416m.) and trek back to Muktinath and it takes about almost eight hours. 07. Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom via Kagbeni (2895 m.) and it takes about five hours. 08. Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara takes about 35 minutes. 09. Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist mini bus, takes about seven hours. 10. Recreation & shopping day in Kathmandu. Stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu. 11. Transfer to the Airport for final departure (Fly out from Kathmandu). Included :
- A trekking guide
- 1 porter (1 porter carries up to 25 kgs of 2 participants)
- All meals three times a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
- Accommodation in teahouses (lodges) during the trek and Kathmandu 2 nights.
- Sleeping bag & down jacket if required
- Entry Permit for Annapurna conservation Area
- Trekkers' Information Management system (TIMS) card
- All land transportation (by tourist bus for the route from Kathmandu to Pokhara and from Pokhara to Kathmandu and the rest of the travel route by car)
