The 14 days Everest Base Camp Trek is one of the most popular trekking itineraries in the Everest region. The Everest region is understandably one of the world's most spectacular hiking destinations in the world. This trek of a lifetime to the Everest region includes climbing Kalapatthar and an view of four of the world’s six tallest peaks including the panoramic views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Makalu. Everest Base Camp trek starts from Kathmandu; a flight to Lukla and then exploring Namche Bazaar before entering into the Khumbu region. The trek provides you also with a wonderful experience of the lifestyle and culture of the Sherpa. The trek passes through some ancient monasteries and Gompas as well.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and Trip Preparation - 1,300m.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and Trip Preparation - 1,300m
On arrival in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our airport representative. After the completion of immigration formalities, you will be transferred to your hotel. Depending on your choice, you can either visit our office site where you can meet your trekking guide or stroll around the streets of Thamel - a tourist hub in Kathmandu. After roaming around the streets of Thamel, you will engage on upcoming trip preparation with your trek members. Overnight in Kathmandu.  

Day 02: Kathmandu - Lukla - Phakding (2,652m): 3 - 4 hrs.
In the morning you board for a scenic mountain flight to Lukla - the gateway from where the trek begins. The scenic mountain flight is about 35 minutes and it gives you a perfect sight of tremendous Himalayan Range. From Lukla, our trek begins,  passing through the stone paved trails towards Bhaisekharka and in due course gets  us to Phakding. On the trail you come across plenty of prayer rocks. Day 03: Phakding - Namche Bazaar (3,440m): 5 - 6 hrs
Following through a pine forest, the trail leads you along the Dudh Koshi River. While on the way you will encounter a wonderful view of the glistening Mt. Thamserku (6618m). Passing through the settlement of Benkar, Chumoa, Monjo, you reach the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park. Next, the trail climbs through the forests and bridges to reach the confluence of the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers. Prior to reaching Namche Bazaar, the trail passes through Jorsale Village and while on the trail you will have first sight of Mt. Everest. Overnight in Namche. (BLD)

Day 04: Acclimatization Day
This will be the appropriate acclimatization day with some excursions around the landmarks of Namche Bazaar – the trading hub of the Everest region. In the center of Namche you can visit the mountaineering museum and spend some quality time interacting with the fun-loving Sherpa. Next, you can visit Sagarmatha National Park headquarter and the Tourist Visitor Centre as well. Beyond the centre of this Sherpa Capital, you can hike to the Everest View Hotel, the ideal place to overview some of the outstanding mountains such as Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Lhotse etc. Otherwise you can walk around the Khumjung valley, Hillary School and climb up to the famous airstrip at Syangboche before returning back to Namche. Day 05: Namche Bazzar to Tengboche (3,870m): 5 - 6 hrs
After breakfast in Namche, the trek begins to Tengboche. With wonderful views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Aba Dablam (6,856m), Lhotse (8,511m), Nuptse (7,896m) and a close up view of Mt. Thamserku will take your breath away. While crossing wildlife like pheasant, musk deer, herd of Himalayan Thar, the trail gradually leads you to Sansa. Next the trek continues along the rushing glacial waters of the Dudh Koshi River and then prepare for a little tough climb till to Tengboche. Tengboche is popular for close up views of Ama-Dablam, Nuptse, and Everest and it has a biggest Buddhist Monastery in all the Khumbu region. Inside the monastery are incredibly ornate wall hangings, a 20-foot sculpture of Buddha, and the musical instruments and robes of the Lamas. Overnight at Tengboche. (BLD)

Day 06: Tengboche to Dingboche (4,360 m): 5 - 6 hrs
On this day, you reach Dingboche enjoying the beautiful sight of the mountains, several Chortens, Mani walls and small villages. Then we passing  by Pheriche beneath the towering north face of Mt Ama Dablam (6,856m). You will come to Imja Valley and will enjoy a panoramic view of the snow capped mountains and varied landscape. The valley gradually unfolds as you approach the confluence of the Lobuche River. From Lobuche River you trek the steepest climb of the day up to Dingboche. At Dingboche, you will see beautiful array of fields and grazing animals. Overnight at Dingboche. (BLD)

Day 07: Dingboche - Duglha (4,600 m): 3 - 4 hrs
Today’s trek starts from Dingboche and initially passes through the Khumbu Khola valley. In this section of the trail you will have awesome views of mountains on all sides. On the way to Duglha, you will come to Dusa- a yak herder's place and Phulung Karpo, the camp site of the first successful Everest Expedition in 1953. As you trek on, the majestic view of Mt. Pumori (7,161m) comes into view. Prior to reaching Duglha, you will be greeted with the fantastic views of Mt Cholatse, Mt Thamserku, and several other magnificent peaks including the tip of Mt Nuptse (7,896m). Overnight at Duglha. Day 08: Duglha - Lobuche (4,940 m): 3 - 4 hrs
From Duglha, today’s trek starts with climbing up the steep terminal moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. While moving ahead you will find the memorials to Scott Fischer and 10 times Everest summitter Babu Chiri Sherpa. As the trail passes down to the Khumbu Glacier, you see several great peaks - Khumbutse, Lingtren, Pumori and Mahalangur Himal. In addition, Mt Nuptse towers to the right as the trail crosses the Khumbu Glacier. Overnight at Lobuche. (BLD)

Day 09: Lobuche - Gorak Shep (5,170m) - Everest Base Camp (5,364m) - Gorak Shep: 8 - 9 hrs
The trail to Gorak Shep goes ahead through the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. While trekking ahead to Gorak Shep you will see the crest of the north ridge of Everest along with Mt. Pumori, Mt. Mahalangur, Mt. Lingtern, Mt. Khumbutse, Mt. Nuptse, etc. As you reach Gorak Shep, you will see snow-capped mountains looming all around you including the top of the world - Mt. Everest (8,848m). From Gorak Shep you move towards Everest Base Camp. Upon reaching the base camp of top of the world you will have the views of Nuptse, Khumbuste and Pumori. Mt. Everest is not visible from the base camp. The experience of being at the foothill of world’s highest mountain cannot be expressed in words. Next, trek down to Gorakshep. Overnight at Gorak Shep. Day 10: Gorak Shep -  Kala Patthar - Pheriche (4,280 m): 8 - 9 hrs
Today’s journey starts early in the morning to get Kalapattar. This is the place from where you can see the wide view of Everest. Your dream will come true here. During the trek to Kala Patthar familiar peaks such as Lingtren, Khumbutse, Changtse tower including Nuptse and Everest. While ascending to Kala Patthar, you can pause to catch several outstanding view points to snap pictures. As you reach the top, gigantic views of mountains and glaciers around you give a sense of heaven; including a close-up view of Mt. Everest, Amadablam and Pumori. You wander from one mighty massif to another at this junction. This is guaranteed to be a tremendous moment in your life. After taking photo shots of spectacular mountain massifs you again trek down to Gorak Shep. Overnight at Gorak Shep. (BLD)

Day 11: Pheriche-Pangboche-Tengboche-Namche Bazzar (3,440 m): 5 - 6 hrs
On this day, you trek back to Namche passing through Pangboche and Tengboche. The trail is pleasant with the views of impressive mountains and forests. From Pangboche the trail follows the Dudh Koshi gorge descending rapidly through the pine forests. While on the trial you come across Tengboche Monastery - the largest monastery in the Khumbu region. The journey stops at Kyangjuma (3570 m) for a tranquil lunch. At this place you will have the chance to appreciate the stunning Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Nuptse. Next, the trail to Namche passes through pleasant valleys and pasturelands. Ultimately, you reach in Namche Bazaar. Overnight in Namche Bazaar. (BLD)

Day 12: Namche Bazaar-Lukla (2,800m): 6 - 8 hrs
Even if you are trekking in the same trail, it still feels like a completely different experience now. During your walk through the Sherpa villages you will see theirn faith in Buddhism, for there are prayer stones and prayers flags all around. Upon arrival at Lukla, you can stroll around. Overnight at Lukla. (BLD)

Day 13: Lukla - Kathmandu
It will be your fly back time to Kathmandu. This short and scenic flight will make you feel nostalgic because you will catch glimpses of those snowy mountains. In Kathmandu you will be taken to your hotel where you can take a rest or may stroll around the streets of Thamel for souvenir shopping.  In the evening you will have a trip celebration dinner with your team. Overnight in Kathmandu. (BD)

Day 14: Departure from Nepal
The 14 days Everest Base Camp Trek comes to an end today. 3 hours before your scheduled flight, our representatives will take you to airport. On your way home, we hope you will have plenty of time to plan your next adventure trip in the Himalayas.
