There is number of cultural group like tharu,Yadav,Ahir,Newars and so on.The music of Nepal is an integral part of this diverse country's culture you can listen the different types of traditional music of different cultural group. Nepali traditional folk and classical music entertaining enough to cheer you. Nepali music is greatly influenced from the Tibet and Hindustan musical genera.nepales peopleperform the musical event in birthday,marriage,different festival or even in National event and at the time of welcoming the visitor by singing their traditional song.
In nepal  majority of people follow the hindu religion but a small percentage follows Buddhism or other religious faith.about the 86.51%are Hindus,7.78% Buddhism and remaining 6% are other religious.There is a concentration of Buddhists in the eastern hills, the central Tarai and Kathmandu Valley.Modern times have seen an increase in other religions in Nepal, but the general population has chosen to remain with the faith practiced by their forefathers.
Nepali traditional dress is termed as the 'Daura Suruwal'.It is also called as 'Labeled Suruwal'.The Daura has eight strings that serves to tie itself up around the body. according to Nepali mythology eights the lucky number that's why Eight string is put in daura.Daura has closed neck that signifies the snake around the Lord Shiva's neck.for the Nepali women 'Guniu' is the traditional dress which is very famous in fashion world.
Nepal is the country with the different ethnic group with several languages.In Nepal different ethnic group has abundant languages group. Although the major language of Nepal is Nepali but more than hundred language are spokenin Nepal.The principal and official language of Nepal is Nepali (Gorkhali), spoken in the Tarai and the mid-mountain region. Nepali, a derivative of Sanskrit, belongs to the Indo-Aryan branch of the Indo-European family. There are a number of regional dialects found in the Tarai and mountain areas. The languages of the north and east belong predominantly to the Tibeto-Burman family. These include Magar, Gurung, Rai, Limbu, Sunwar, Tamang, Newari, and a number of Bhutia dialects, including Sherpa and Thakali. Although Newari is commonly placed in the Tibeto-Burman family, it was influenced by both Tibeto-Burman and Indo-European languages.
