Dagala Thousand Lakes Trekking includes number of tranquil high altitude lakes .This trek is enlisted as easy trek; near the capital city Thimphu.It is one of the popular treks of Bhutan. Dagala Thousand Lakes Trekking literally doesn’t have thousand lakes in number however number of lakes positioned in the high altitude has given this trek its name.

 Lakes in this trek has been shelter of Ttrouts.So, you can try out your fishing skill here. Beside the trout in the lakes, Dagala has treasured wildlife like pheasants, musk deer on the land as well. To add colors to the trekking trail floras like Alpine flowers, rhododendrons et cetera are available on the way. Dagala thousand Lakes Trekking has the range called Dagala Range which has that breathtaking scenic beauty that can be witnessed from the trekking trial passing the meadows. During May/June and September/October this trekking is best to explore. Itinerary of Dagala Thousands Lakes Trek

Days Activities
01. Arrive Paro
02. Paro: Morning drive up the valley to Drukgyel Dzong Overnight in hotel in Paro.
03. Paro to Thimphu
04. Thimphu sight seeing and Overnight in hotel in Thimphu.
05. Thimphu to Genekha 14km, 4 hours
06. Genekha to Gur 15km, 4 hours
07. Gur – Labatama 12km, 5 hours. Overnight camp near the lake.
08. Labatama halt.  Overnight in camp.
09. Labatama halt: Extension to Setsho and nearby lakes. 
10. Labatama to Panka 8km, 4 hours Overnight camp on a grassy meadow at Panka.
11. Panka to Talekha 8km, 4 hours
12. Talekha to Thimphu and to Paro 6km, 2 hours. Overnight at the hotel in Paro.
13. Depart Paro: Early transfer to airport for flight to onward destination.
