History of Bhutan

History of Bhutan is still a mystery somewhere; it is the only country which has been independent throughout is history in the world, which has been never conquered, occupied or ruled by any outside power and from the historical records we can know that Bhutan has continuously and successfully protected its sovereignty.
In 1910, the British signed a treaty, which provided that the British Indian will not interfere in any internal affairs of the Bhutan and in 1947, when India gained independence the Indian government announced Bhutan as an Independent Country and in 1949, Indian government signed a treaty of Peace and Friendship which provided that India would not interfere in the internal affairs of Bhutan.
